Fluff with Fork

Few people in this world have had more impact on my day to day life than Ruth Siems, the inventor of Stove Top stuffing, who died a couple of weeks ago.

On my homepage I get recent New York Times headlines. Her obit read "Ruth M. Seims, Inventor of Stuffing Dies at 74."

The headline alone had me believing she was the inventor of all stuffing. After reading the article I came to the conclusion I'm not nearly as sharp-mided as I thought. I also realized stuffing has made me the slightly doughy man I am today.

I'm not taking this news well.

Personally, I prefer potatoes.

I have been expressing the same sentiments this past week of Pat Morita ("wax on, wax off") from the Karate Kid movies. What a great man.

Pat Morita, right! He died on the same day as George Best. Sports fans probably know him as an English Football star...I only knew him as a reference from an Undertones song...it's been a tough week for all of us. Potatoes and Stuffing are on me this evening.

Ruth M. Seims, Pat Morita and George Best...does that qualify as the rule of three? Where does Eddie Guerrero fit in?

i'm pretty sure best has already been counted as he's been close to death for the past 5 years or so. he's a wild card.

Right. Best's body died last week.

A bit late, I'm afraid (I hang my head in shame, and then I lie claiming it was so!) but I noted my own theory about this here, for the record. (This was easy for me to find, as it's the only post in four years of blogging in which I use the "word" "StoveTop.")

Whoops, Preview reveals yet again that I can't actually link, for the bazillionith time which still won't help me remember tomorrow.

So, let's ruin the format as usual!
