Not so long ago it was almost entirely Hasids.

I'm contemplating if I can pull off the Chester A. Arthur look. I may need to gain some weight.

I didn't know what he looked like, so I found a picture that was with an interview (from mediabistro . com). Found this pretty funny in context:

M - "Clearly other people seem to find you entertaining.... though perhaps not the New York Press."

C - "That was really weird, a very weird thing. I got an email that day that said, "This guy you've never heard of has written a piece for a publication you've never read and is attacking what you look like and claiming you're the anti-Christ."

I know what you mean I was in Williamsburg, everybody was, like, dipping candles and shit. I was all "Posers!"

The difference, of course, being that three out of every three people there can write better than Chuck Klosterman.

I live in Williamsburg, in The Mall on n5th. Looked out for you but never saw you. Williamsburg is poser central, its got this faux artistic quality to it - you're like, I'm in the Village circa the 1960's!! Except, it's not liek that at all. The kids are pretentious wannabe artists who will never, ever succeed in their pursuits at 1) music 2) art, 3) filmmaking, or 4) writing, for the most part.

But the girls here are quite cute, and thus, I am happy.

Hipsters in Chicago are much less beautiful than the ones in downtown NYC.

They look like the "bad kids" depicted on the covers of 1930s pulp novels.
