Maud Newton says "you probably had to grow up in a whacked-out fundamentalist household" to appreciate this Cthulhoid parody of a Chick Tract. Well, I didn't but I do. I think my having had a largely Cthulhu-focused childhood might have helped though.
Brilliant.
I don't know what half the words in that post meant, and you know what... i don't care.

Posted by: sam at October 6, 2005 05:58 AMi guess i did care, because i went and found out what a cthulhulu and a chick tract were. where im from, people dont mess with that chick tract stuff but i did get one once at an amusement park about feeding fish and how the fish dont even know their owner (god) loves them and provides food everyday. where do cthuhuluhu's come from though? i gather it is a scary monster that eats people, but is that a star trek thing?

At Barnes and Noble in the 90's, I would find them every now and then tucked into a lot of the books in the poetry section. Weirder still, None would be found in books by Bukowski....but they would be stuck in just about every Maya Angelou!
